There are some moments, in which I can't find the right words and I prefer to say nothing. So, at a first glance, I become the silent guy from the back, too quiet sometimes I get asked if I'm sick...
Well i'm not sick (with fever) but sometimes I have my outbursts, as anyone else does. Theese outbursts, help me concentrate on a thing and in the end eigher I do it or not.
It's enough with the bull, last night I went for a shoot, but i had a lot of trouble from keeping the reflector straight, to set up my speedlight. These were only a mere factor to have trouble, I also had to work with non professional models (my friends usually) so I needed to guess a possition to make them look good also. Plus as a photographer you need to know where you go, where to set up your things etc.
Living in a small city, the people are weirdly asking you stupid things, it's hard to concentrate on portraits during daytime and in growded places, it's hard to show up with an iphone or an old bmw with a nice tuning job, because everyone will start with stupid questions, and in the end you don't do shit. I need to have my moment of silence, I need to get in touch with my concentration and creativity. There are also the guy's and galls that don't get that it DOES NOT matter what camera you own, you can do your pics with an old russian Smena on film for what I care, why? because I like it that way! I don't need to turn around on canon or nikon or whatever you think it's good. There are other cameras and other people that use thoose with a great deal (sony, pentax, leica, hasselblad, etc) the last ones from the examples are actually astronomic cameras. The price range starts from 20.000$. You really need to get your money back on them, and for what I do, my d7000 is more than a great companion.
What i'm actually trying to say is that is hard as hell to find a place in my home town to offer a new idea to a portrait. So this time I choose a place at one of the ends of the city limits, where there is an old railway track that no one uses no more, and I started shooting. All day we were affraid of the rain and in the end we left because of the cold.
